"I
stumbled across Vicki's web site after moving to Colorado and began
taking lessons. I had been riding for several years on my own horses
and with various trainers, but had yet to recover my confidence from
a bad fall in 1992. Riding with Vicki on her wonderful Shaquille,
I'm enjoying riding again, and FINALLY, FINALLY, cantering! As an
"older" rider, I have just had a wonderful time during each
lesson, am unlearning some bad habits, and feel like I'm picking up
on the basics of dressage."

"When I first started
working
with Vicki, we
talked a lot about training techniques and then I got to watch how she
applied
those techniques to the horses she worked with. I also feel she has a
wonderful
understanding of the horses and how they think and she uses that
ability in
adapting her training with the different horses. They all are so
different but
yet very much the same. She worked well with our young filly to get her
to the
show ring and the filly performed beautifully. We couldn’t have been
more
pleased with the results".

"I
think Vicki is very helpful.
She has a good knowledge of horses and is
willing to work on the areas that the client wants to. She takes her time
during the lessons and doesn't rush through them. The horses seem to
relate to her and thus she gets things
accomplished. With
her many years of
experience, I feel she is very
competent and effective."

"Vicki's years of experience have given her a
calmness that helps her relate to the horses, as well as her students,
very well. I have personally enlisted her guidance many times
over the years that we've known each other (roughly 15 years) to help
me with a variety of issues on Arabians and Half Arabians of
many different disciplines. Aside from her training ability, she
is also a wonderful cheerleader! My biggest personal
issue
has involved my lack of confidence in the past. She has
helped me enormously to realize that I am a competent rider and
can do the things that I want to do with my horses. In addition
to all of that, she has also become a very good friend and is a lot of
fun to hang out with! I would highly recommend her to anyone
looking for a talented trainer and show coach."

"I
have known Vicki for longer than I care to admit; and I have always
found her knowledgeable about various training techniques and kind to
her horses. When I got my newest horse, I had somehow gotten
older and wasn't sure if I could break her by myself. Vicki was
there to help and do the fine tuning. Zoey is a love now and
Vicki will be the one I call when I am ready to go back in the ring!! "

"Vicki was very
helpful to me in
building my confidence to "take the next step" in my showing
career. I
had been doing small shows and doing ok but didn't have the polish I
needed, nor the confidence to take it to the next level. Vicki
began
working with me and my Morgan DRF Fascination and we progressed very
well. It was through her guidance, support and encouragement that
I
began showing at Class A shows and did very well! She is a wonderful
coach, trainer and cheerleader! Thank you Vicki! "

"Vicki is one of the
easiest
trainers to work with, she always works with the owners to accomplish

"I'd love to say a few words about Vicki's
training methods,
wonderful, enlightening, effective! Her patient way with "Jamilah" has
made her much easier to handle, the time it takes to achieve a task
isn't the issue with Vicki as with so many other trainers, it is
the
end result. Thanks a million!"

"I know Vickie was a tremendous
inspiration to my daughter Julie. She
taught her things she couldn't have learned any where else. On our
first meeting with Vickie, she showed us the love and affection
she has with her animals. She entered their stalls, hugged them,
introduced us to them, there was no commanding of them to be good. Just
sincere trust on both parts. One of the first things she said our young
Arab Bailey needed to learn
was 'His space, My space.' My first reaction was 'Ya. Right.' Well, he
learned that in the first day of lessons. My daughter Julie has
progressed to be a very knowledgeable and capable trainer and rider and
we owe most of that to Vickie."

"With the help of Vicki and a talented stallion
owned by Verlie Ladd, Sahra Rafeek, I have been transformed from true
trail hack to 2004 NH Arabian, Amateur to Ride Show Hack Champion!!
Vicki's positive coaching style gave me the extra edge that it
took to win my first blue ribbon. She is a fun person to be with and
we're looking forward to another exciting show season in '05!"

I have known Vickie
since she was in high school and gamed all over NH with her Western
horse, Pilot! In fact, she, her husband, and horses lived
with me for a time when her older son was an infant. For the last
couple of years she has kindly boarded our now retired Arabian who
my daughter showed in costume, in hand and hunt seat. When I
was not at a show, Vickie ran into the ring when Megan won a
championship and she offered her pre class advice, even when Megan was
not a regular student. She also put up with Megan showing up at
the barn at 11pm at night with her girlfriend, Mallory, when they
decided Bay needed extra grooming (I think they were talking on the
cell phone at the same time). Vickie is great with her students
be they adult or child. She shows great patience with young
animals during the training process and relates well to them.
We already miss her in NH. I have had horses for many years
(with a short stint away from them) and it seems, we always recommend
Vickie to new or old horse owners or riders.

| When I met Vicki I
knew nothing about showing or really working with my horse. Not
only did she teach me the ropes to the show circuit, she taught me how
to work with my horse and to take my skills home with me. She
encouraged me to set goals and as I reached each one my confidence and
riding abilities improved. She will also be the first to
tell you when you are way out of the ball park! I enjoy her
honesty, quick wit and relaxed manner. I know that I can call on
her when I need that pep talk or to answer a "how to" question. -

"
Vicki was my first trainer. I knew next to nothing about riding,
but she helped me to post trot and helped me with my
balance. She is very encouraging when you do
something right, but she also wants you to learn the correct way of
riding, so she corrects you when you are doing something wrong.
That is important.
Vicki knows
her Arabians, and knew that Bonnie Rose and I would be a good
match. I can never thank her enough for getting Bonnie
Rose. She is a wonderful horse. I love her with my heart
and soul. Thank
you Vicki."

" I have known Vicki for over twenty years and I
recommend her highly for all your equine needs, including lessons,
training and sales. Besides being easy to talk and relate to,
Vicki loves animals and working with people to accomplish their
goals. She does all of this in an easy-going manner with her
unique sense of humor. She genuinely cares about all
animals. Also, of all the equine people that I know, Vicki is the
most honest and upstanding professional that I know."

" Vickie is the kind
of trainer that I would recommend to
anyone for she puts the horse first and does a wonderful job with them.
All
you have to do is walk in her barn and see how all the horses are
happy. As
a past/future client/friend, I can't say enough about her kindness and
help,
especially for me when she was there to help me through the loss of my
Mother. Please feel free to use any part of this for Vickie's web site.
Take care,
Cindy"
